The restructure plays to the considerable strengths of the current staff and management team, and clearly sets out Miller UK's intention to be one of Europe's leading prepress partners for the 21st century, delivering exceptional service and results to all its clients.
Since its acquisition by the Miller Graphics Group in 2008, Miller Graphics UK (previously Corniche Fine Arts) has continued to develop and invest in its people and facilities. The new company structure has a clear focus on sales and business development and will enable Miller Graphics to further strengthen its competitive position in the UK market.
The restructure sees Alan Brown appointed Managing Director of Miller Graphics UK, whilst Sean Hancocks will take the lead in managing the company's operational needs from its Bridlington hub.
For Miller UK clients the restructure means business as usual, but within a company structure that will allow staff to deliver even better customer service and technical excellence. Alan Brown explains: "These are exciting times for Miller Graphics UK. The support and backing of the Miller Graphics Group, particularly in the context of these challenging financial times, is a clear statement of their trust and belief in the UK operation and will enable us to continue to provide exceptional service to our existing clients whilst seeking out new business."
Miller Graphics Group President Kenth Larsson commented: "Miller Graphics UK has an exceptional reputation for technical brilliance and this restructure is designed to allow more brand owners, printers and converters to benefit from that knowledge and expertise. As Group President I'm confident that the UK team is in a sound position to capitalise on the opportunities ahead, and I look forward to what 2012 and beyond will bring."
Miller Graphics Corniche consolidated its position as a key player on the UK packaging scene recently, with its presence at the UK Packaging Awards 2011. Held at the Hilton Park Lane and attended by over 620 industry-leading brand owners, retailers, designers and packaging printers, the Awards recognize excellence in every area of the packaging supply chain.
Alan Brown, Group Business Director of Miller Graphics, presented the award for Best Repackaging of a Brand to LRW Design for their work on the rebranding of coffee and tea retailer Whittards of Chelsea.

"At Miller we're passionate about accurately and consistently communicating brand values to customers, through exceptional design, print and packaging. So it was a pleasure to present the award to LRW for their Whittards redesign, which showed a real understanding of an iconic English brand," explained Alan.
The UK Packaging Awards is the industry's foremost awards event, having more than doubled in size in the last three years, and is hosted by Packaging News. Editor Josh Brooks commented: "It was fantastic to have Miller Graphics' support for the UK Packaging Awards 2011."
"By sponsoring the Best Re-Packaging of a Brand category, Miller showed the industry that it backs new design and innovation in packaging and fully supports the value that packaging can add to brands and products."
Miller also joined Kingsway Printers in celebrating their win of Label of the Year for Waitrose's Sustainably Sourced Patagonian Roeless Scallops. The label was produced using LiNX - a cutting edge technology developed and pioneered by Miller Graphics, which enables stunning photographic quality print to be achieved through flexo processes.
"Using LiNX plates from Miller, our highly skilled printers are capable of delivering images which would have previously only been achievable using expensive lithographic or gravure processes," explained Gary Davies, Co-Director of Sales at Kingsway. "Clients have been astounded at the superior images produced, which reflect the quality of their products and services."

The Miller Graphics Scandinavia AB proudly announces the full integration of Reproserwis into the Miller Graphics Group. Reproserwis is one of Poland's most respected repro companies situated in Suchy Las near Poznan, operating on the Polish market since 1991.
Reproserwis was a pioneer on the Polish market in pre-press of complex designs printed in flexo and it made great efforts to develop flexography in Poland. During the last 20 years Reproserwis succeeded in creating up to date artwork and repro in it's well equipped graphic studio. Adding to that it has an outstanding facility for production of printing forms for all kinds of flexible and board packaging. It is the only reprohouse in Poland capable to supply artwork, repro and printing forms in both Kodak NX and HD Flexo 2 created by ESKO. Since 2008 the facility has been expanded by a new, modern and spacious building.
After 10 years of partnership, the former co-owners Mr & Mrs Szymanski and Miller Graphics reached an agreement to transfer the majority interest to Miller Graphics Scandinavia AB. Mr Stanislaw Szymanski remains in charge of the company as Managing Director of Miller Graphics Poland.
The integration of Reproserwis, fits well into Miller Graphics' strategy to further strengthen its market position in Europe. This important strategic step opens new markets as well as resources for the entire Miller Graphics Group.
Kenth Larsson, President of the Miller Graphics AB, says: "Reproserwis is an outstanding company in its line of business with a very high customer satisfaction level. Stanislaw Szymanski and his team have been strongly focusing on quality and have implemented excellent graphical work flow systems in their well organized operation. The Reproserwis team's expertise in repro for flexo, offset and gravure printing is an asset to the present organization of Miller Graphics and will be of benefit to the future development of the group. On top of that, it's proven track record in conceptual design and print consultancy is fitting in very well with Miller Graphics' mission to support the entire graphic chain from design to print."
Stanisław Szymański, Managing Director of the Reproserwis, says:
"When I am thinking about the 20th anniversary of Reproserwis, one other thought keeps crossing my mind as well; we wouldn't be successful and there wouldn't be any happy celebration of that jubilee, if there was no target defined from the very beginning and if there was no constant determination to reach it.
In order to realize an ambitious plan, one needs a brilliant and fervent team.
We have succeeded in these items. The mission will be continued and we are going to constantly improve our abilities."
